UK sales auditor Chart-Track have released the sales figures for home console hardware for last week in the UK.
The Nintendo Wii sold 25,000, the PlayStation 3 sold 17,000 units, whilst the Xbox 360 11,000
A fortnight ago the PlayStation 3 launched with record breaking sales, last week predictably saw a sales drop, however it also outsold the Xbox 360 that is retailing for £135 less. Microsoft declined to comment on the figures.Now that all three consoles are finally on the market, we can cut through the PR & spin, and look at the sales figures throughout the year to gain a true insight into the UK's current flavour of the month.
